Below are a few ways to wear a white tee in spring. I love a simple tee because it is so versatile and can be a key item to so many looks. As you will see, I am a pretty neutral person, so know that you can totally add some color within these items, as well.
I got this idea from my sister, Briana. She did a white tee challenge on our instagram during Fall (find the post here), and I thought, why not do a spring addition, as well.
White tees can seriously be worn all year long. This is an item that you can layer on top of, dress up a bit (business casual), or wear as loungewear.
I am going to admit that I am a fan of recycling clothes. I am not a wear it once and ditch it kind of gal, so these items that are paired with my white tee, are clothes I found right in my closet.
LOOK ONE: PAIR A WHITE TEE WITH SWEATS
Although my sweats are already neutral and solid, the white tee can help make any pair of sweats looks a little more put together.
Add a little knot to your tee by grabbing the two sides, crossing them and pushing one piece through like you would make any knot with a string. Knot it once more to secure in place.
LOOK TWO: PAIR A WHITE TEE WITH A BLAZER
Blazers have become a great piece to layer. It dresses you up a bit, and makes you feel somewhat sophisticated- at least I do :).
I paired this t-shirt with a tan blazer and cream pants to keep it light for spring.
LOOK THREE: PAIR A WHITE TEE WITH A SKIRT
I love wearing dresses in the spring and summer. It’s one item, so you don’t even have to think about your outfit. However, a white tee and a skirt has the same feel. (You have your tee on hand, so you just need to pick a skirt.)
This black one is on the dressy side with the chiffon material, but the plain t-shirt helps make it a little more casual.
WHERE DO I FIND A WHITE TEE
You can find white tees pretty much at any store that sells tshirts. The trick is getting one with the right material. You want to make sure it isn’t super see-through.
I always love 100% cotton for multiple reasons. For example, it’s sustainable, and breathable.
I also really like triblends. They are just so comfortable. Bella+Canvas has good quality in my opinion.
